NATURAL HAIR REGIMEN & STAPLE PRODUCTS

REGIMEN

WASH DAYS

*Recaps for every wash are going to be posted on Fridays, including products, process, and results. I will post all my wash days recaps here.

•  PRE-POO By spraying my hair with water + glycerin to soften and detangle, then apply either oil or a rinse out moisturizing conditioner on top.

•  CO WASH Once or twice a week with a cheapy, rinse out conditioner or Eden Body Works Coconut Shea Cleansing 

•  DEEP CONDITION Once a week with a moisturizing deep conditioner and use heat via my heat caps or steamer for 30 mins.(2019 I am doing a challenge where I do not put any type of heat on my hair unless I'm doing a check to see how much my hair has grown.)

•  SHAMPOO Once a month with any type you like. My favorite is my organic Shampoo that I make on my own, Tresemme or Redken Hair Cleansing Cream to remove product build up and mineral build up.

•  DETANGLING With my fingers while apply conditioner in the shower, and styling with a seamless comb when necessary depending on the style.

•  LEAVE INS + STYLING Before styling, I apply leave-in conditioner, serum to seal the moisture, and then a style for holding when doing a twist out or braid out, I'm still learning how to style my natural hair and I like to keep things simple so I'm pretty boring when it comes to styling my hair. The styles I rely on are high buns, low buns, two braids, braid outs and my least favorites are twist outs.
